Scout Night at the Speedway!

Scouts! Start your engines! Once again, The Laurel Highlands Council in partnership with Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway is presenting Laurel Highlands Council Scout Night at the Speedway!

Mark your calendars for this exciting event on Saturday August 8, 2026, at Allegheny County’s only speedway, Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway located near Imperial, PA.

Free Event for All Scouts

Did we mention it’s all free? Yep. All Scouts in uniform will be admitted for free with accompanying adults paying the discounted price of just $10 (two per Scout). No registration. Just show up!

(Noblestown Exit of Route 22)

Gates open at 5 PM, Practice laps at 6 PM and racing action gets underway at 7 PM. Come as a family or bring your whole Troop or Pack.

Select units will take part in opening ceremonies before the racing action begins! And for a select few Scouts, there will be a chance to join the flagman in the flagstand and wave the green flag over the start of a race!
