Board @ Camp is a six-stop experience designed to connect members of the Laurel Highlands Council Board of Directors, foundation and United Way partners, community leaders, and friends of Scouting with the camps, programs, and people they help make possible.

Each stop offers a unique opportunity to experience one of our premier camp properties, meet the volunteers and Scouts who bring our mission to life, and see firsthand how your leadership and support are creating life-changing experiences for thousands of young people.

Our First Stop: Camp Potomac

Join us on Saturday, September 19 as we kick off the 2026 Board @ Camp series with a special celebration at Camp Potomac.

This year’s first stop features the Grand Opening of the Potomac Service Center (18308 Scout Camp Road, Oldtown, Maryland 21555), a significant investment in the future of Scouting throughout the Potomac region. Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony, guests will enjoy tours of the new facility, lunch in the dining hall, opportunities to explore camp, and fellowship with fellow board members, volunteers, and community partners.

Whether you stay for the day or join us for part of the program, you’ll experience firsthand the impact of Scouting—and the role you play in shaping its future.

Complimentary Transportation

Round-trip motor coach transportation will be available from Camp Guyasuta for guests who wish to travel together to Camp Potomac. Simply select the transportation option during registration to reserve your seat.
